INVOICE + PAYMENT TERMS
After dental treatment, a bill will follow, which is logical. It depends on your dental insurance which part you can and cannot claim from your health insurance. But how exactly does this work? And what do you have to take into account? We explain this here.
After dental treatment.
The dentist processes the treatment in his records after which an invoice is made. This is then automatically sent to your insurer. They check the bill and determine what is eligible for reimbursement.
Is the bill fully eligible for reimbursement? Then you will not be informed. It may also be that your bill is only partially eligible for reimbursement, or not at all. If this is the case, you will be sent a bill for the amount you still need to pay.If your e-mail address is known to the dentist, you will receive the bill digitally. Otherwise, you will receive it by post. You can read exactly what your dentist did during the treatment on the bill. Want to know what the various codes on the bill mean? Pay
If you have received a bill, it is important to pay it on time. You can transfer the amount to us via the Ideal link. You will pay a €0.50 fee for this. Don't pay the bill on time? Then you will receive a payment reminder. If your payment is still not received after that, you will receive a second reminder. If payment is not made on time, the bill will be passed on to the collection agency. You will be liable for all costs incurred.
If you have any questions about billing, reminders and/or payments, please get in touch. We can be reached for this on 035-5262245 or via e-mail: info@etiq.nl

Failure to cancel appointments on time
At etiq dentists, you can cancel or change your appointment free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. If you fail to do so or forget your appointment, you may be charged.
If this is the first time, we apply the following rates:
€6 per 5-minute appointment with the prevention assistant and dental hygienist.
€10 per 5-minute dentist appointment.
If it happens a 2nd time that you do not cancel an appointment or do not cancel in time, you may be charged the full amount of the treatment.
If it happens a 3rd time in 2 years, the full amount will be charged and we will no longer make new appointments with you. Of course, we hope it doesn't have to come to that.
