Implants are also possible if you have dentures. We then attach what are known as 'click dentures' to these. In most cases, click dentures on implants are largely covered by your basic health insurance. At etiq, we can give you the information you need to make the right choice for you.

An implant is a screw inserted into the bone to replace a tooth root. A crown or bridge can be placed on the screw. It can also serve as an anchorage for click teeth.
At etiq dentists, we place white, metal-free zirconium implants in addition to titanium implants.
An implant feels most "tooth-like". So you feel practically no difference from your own tooth. You also don't have to grind off any teeth like with a porcelain bridge. With proper maintenance and lifestyle, an implant will last the longest.
In some cases, an implant cannot be placed immediately when a tooth is extracted. The treatment then takes longer than with, for example, a porcelain bridge. There is an increased risk of inflammation or rejection of an implant in smokers or people with reduced immunity, such as diabetic patients.
A recognised implantologist is a dentist oral surgeon who has demonstrably specialised in the field of oral implantology. They are referred to as dentist-implantologist NVOI or MKA-surgeon-implantologist NVOI. A visitation takes place every 5 years and 2 specialists assess whether the implantologist still meets the strict requirements of the professional association NVOI.
An implant with a molar on it costs between €1800 and €2750 oa depending on the condition of the bone and the choice of dental laboratory. A front tooth is usually a bit more expensive because sometimes additional treatments are necessary and the crown has higher aesthetic requirements. At etiq dentists, we work exclusively with A-brand implants, bone materials and high-end dental laboratory.
Implants for click teeth are fully reimbursed from the basic insurance in case of a severely shrunken jaw. Etiq applies for an authorisation for the treatment and arranges everything with the insurance company. The click dentures are subject to a 17% statutory co-payment.
A zirconium implant is made of zirconium dioxide( also called zirconia), a ceramic material. It is an alternative to the more common implants made of titanium.
Big advantage is that it is metal-free and highly biocompatible.
